Martin Kennedy deceased

In the name of God Amen. I Martin Kennedy of Torbay Road farmer being of sound and disposing mind memory and disposition do make this my last will and testament. First. I revoke and cancel all former wills and testamentary disposition made by me. Second I will and direct that out of my estate all my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses be paid. Third Subject to above I will and bequeath all my farm land house barn and other building thereon and all other property of which I may die possessed to my daughter Elizabeth Kennedy generally called Lizzie for her use and benefit during her lifetime and should she marry and leave a a child or children her surviving then after her death the said farm and buildings shall go to such child or if there be more than one child to such children in equal shares provided that should my said daughter die without issue or without leaving a child or children her surviving then in such case said farm lands and buildings shall at her death go to the Roman Catholic church at Torbay. Last I nominate and appoint William R Howley R.C. of St. John’s as executor of this my last will and testament. Signed published and declared as and for his last will and testament by the said Martin Kennedy in our presence present at the same time who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other the same having first been read over and explained to the said Martin Kennedy in our presence this 15th day of January A. D. 1914. Martin X Kennedy have signed as witnesses Berth Forsey William R Howley.
