Margaret Kennedy deceased

This is the last will and testament of me Margaret Kennedy lawful wife of Wm. Kennedy Planter of Conception Harbor Conception Bay Nfld. I hereby revoke all former wills and testamentary despositions by at any time herefore made and declared this to be contain my last will and testament I hereby appoint my husband Wm. Kennedy & my lawful soninlaw Bernard J. St. John to be the executors and trustees of this my will I direct my executors to pay all my just debts furneral expenses as soon as may be done after my decease. I bequeath to my grand daughter Margaret M. St. John my gold watch and chain I bequeath to my second eldest daughter Margaret Hillyard all lands and dwelling house they have in their possession to have and to hold for ever and her heirs and executors. I bequeath to my oldest Bride J. St. John all lands and dwelling and outhouses and carriage horse & cows with what cash in the Bank of Montreal at St. John’s deposited in my name Margaret Kennedy I bequeath the power to my lawful husband Wm. Kennedy to have controlling interest in the whole business untill after his death then the said B.J. St. John shall have and to hold for ever her heirs and executors. Margaret X (her mark) Kennedy. In testimony whereof I have set my hand this first day of May 1914 in the presence of us having been first read over to Margaret Kennedy.
