Thomas Hendrick deceased.

 

      St. John’s, March 20th 1868.  Mr. Thomas Hendrick’s last will and testament-  in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty eight-  I Thomas Hendrick dwelling in St. John’s do herby bequeath to James Hendrick Sawyer of New Ross County Wexford Ireland twenty five pounds currency and my watch and also to his sister Mary Hendrick or otherwise Mary Doherty of Burin by south Newfoundland twenty five pounds currency and also towards the St. Patrick’s Chapel at River head ten pounds currency and also to Mr. Dennis Nowlan  Monday’s Pond the sum of five pounds cy amongst his three daughters and also to Mrs. Peter Aspell the sum of three pounds  cy for her daughter Jane Murphy’s children--  also my bed and bed clothes to Mrs. Mary Doherty of Burin and my box and the clothes to James Hendrick New Ross.  Thomas Hendrick, Wittness, William Aspell, Denis Nowlan.
