US History and the Electric Ben Franklin project. Every founding father should have such a website (and probably does) but this is one dedicated to Ben Franklin. His famous quotes are included and will offer you some pride in how many of them you recognize....and how many of them you should be using with your children. Check the links section; the digital book Forgotten Founders is concise and should be mandatory reading for elementary American History classes. I will be looking for similar sites for Jefferson, Paine and the rest of Our Gang but I am sure USHistory.org has it all covered!
Franklin D. Roosevelt Library and Museum
Gateway to Cornell University Library an amazing resource...check out the e-reference section, the Digital Library Collection which holds the
Making of America a
comprehensive selection of digital, primary sources in American social history
from the Antebellum period through reconstruction
National Library of Medicine
this is a great resource for all health matters where you can actually have the
link to complete journal articles emailed to you. I have run across many
medical sites which charge you to view journal articles....Not the case here.
I found quite a few interesting articles regarding genetics but if you have any
other health issues to research...this would be the place.
